Ami Bera Embraces Clinton (And Her Scandals) At DNC

Ami Bera is facing a major campaign finance scandal and ongoing FBI investigation as he runs for reelection in a swing district that he won by fewer than 1500 votes in 2014. Clearly, the prudent move would be to skip his party’s convention, avoid association with his scandal-plagued nominee, and spend his time talking to 7^th District voters. Right?

Wrong.

Bera chose to trek across the country to join Clinton’s scandal-ridden coronation and support the most extreme platform in DNC history. Maybe Bera didn’t see the new CNN poll showing that 68% of voters don’t believe Hillary is honest or trustworthy. Or maybe he doesn’t care.
