Does John Delaney think The Clinton Foundation should be shut down?
Yesterday, Pennsylvania’s former Democratic governor, Ed Rendell, said the Clinton Foundation should be disbanded if Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton were to be elected to the White House, to remove a “political – and actual – distraction.” But does Hillary Clinton supporter John Delaney feel the same way?
Like all things Clinton-related, the foundation has had its fair share of scandals, including troublesome tax returns, accepting money from foreign countries with poor human rights records, and questionable ties to the State Department.
So, will John Delaney join the former Democratic governor in his calls to close the foundation? Or will he keep quiet about Hillary Clinton’s latest controversy?
“Given the amount of controversy that surrounds The Clinton Foundation, it’s pretty remarkable the charity hasn’t already been shut down and condemned. Now that Former Governor Ed Rendell has demanded that the scandal-plagued Clinton Foundation be disbanded if Hillary is elected President, will John Delaney echo the calls of his fellow Democrat or will he continue to play party politics and remain silent?” -NRCC Spokesperson Camille Gallo
