Morgan Carroll On Hillary Clinton’s Trustworthiness: “I mean, like, do you trust her? I don’t know, honestly”

September 14, 2016

When asked by The Atlantic if “she shared most voters’ qualms about Clinton’s trustworthiness” Morgan Carroll was only able to muster the response of, “I mean, like, do you trust her? I don’t know, honestly.”

I mean, like, not only is Carroll’s dodge incredibly lame, it’s also disingenuous. Carroll has backed Clinton to the hilt and even refused to comment on any of her major scandals, honestly. Other Democrat candidates have been skewered in the press for refusing to say whether or not they trust Clinton.

In a race that Carroll has constantly tried to nationalize, her ineptitude in defending Clinton’s candidacy is staggering. The vast majority of voters don’t trust Clinton, and Morgan Carroll is too cynical to say out loud that she trusts the candidate whom she has endorsed.

NRCC Comment: “Trial lawyer Morgan Carroll refuses to defend Hillary Clinton’s trustworthiness because, after decades of scandal, it is simply indefensible. But that hasn’t stopped Carroll from fully embracing Clinton’s candidacy and refusing to comment on any of the many controversies that have caused voters to question her honesty.” – NRCC Spokesman Zach Hunter
