Ruben Kihuen meets with voters under the Iranian flag

September 16, 2016

ruben-iranRuben Kihuen really likes the Iran Deal. He likes it so much that he called the deal that released billions of dollars to the world’s largest state-sponsor of terror and puts Iran on a path to nuclear weapons a “once in a lifetime opportunity.”

But did you know he likes the Iran Deal enough to meet with voters under the Iranian flag? At a recent event, Ruben Kihuen and fellow Iran Deal backer Catherine Cortez Masto decided to go all-in on their support for the reckless agreement and meet with Nevadans and Politico reporter Elena Schneider (h/t for the original photo) directly under the flag that symbolizes a country whose leader regularly spouts anti-American rhetoric and encourages chants of “death to America” from his people.

NRCC Comment: “As if wholeheartedly backing the dangerous nuclear deal with Iran wasn’t bad enough, now Ruben Kihuen is meeting with voters under the Iranian flag. Luckily, 4th District families can trust Cresent Hardy, who has firmly opposed the reckless Iranian agreement and will always put the safety of Nevadans first.”  – NRCC Spokesman Zach Hunter
