Yesterday, John Delaney showed, once again, that he has no problem putting the Democratic Party before hardworking Americans when he voted against the Co-Op Consumer Protection Act. This bill would have provided relief from Obamacare’s individual mandate penalty for people who lost their health insurance due to the failure of an Obamacare Co-op.

The Co-Op Consumer Protection Act bill only applies to specific cases where a co-op fails mid-year, but Delaney, who voted five times against completely repealing Obamacare, still chose this disastrous law over helping American families.

Even worse, John Delaney has gone radio silent about Maryland regulators announcing the cost of health insurance plans offered under Obamacare will rise by 20 percent or more. It’s shameful that John Delaney can’t even speak up for Maryland families.
