Why won’t Ruben Kihuen return shady campaign cash from Andres Ramirez?

After returning $1000 from Las Vegas City Councilman Ricki Barlow when it was revealed that he is under investigation by the FBI, Ruben Kihuen is now refusing to return a donation from his business partner Andres Ramirez who was recently tied to the same FBI corruption investigation. Ramirez donated $2,700 to Kihuen last year.

If Kihuen was so quick to return Barlow’s donation, why is he clinging to the $2700 from Ramirez? The NRCC officially called for Kihuen to return Ramirez’s donation on Friday.

NRCC Comment: “Ruben Kihuen had the weekend to make the right decision, but instead chose to hang onto campaign donations from his business partner who is now part of an FBI corruption investigation.
