Zephyr Teachout is treating voters like they’re dumb (again)
October 3, 2016
Zephyr Teachout is treating voters like they’re dumb, again. In Teachout’s latest ad, she takes issue with being criticized for her support of the Iran nuclear deal and her opposition to a property tax cap.
So let’s do a little fact check, shall we?
Property taxes:
“I oppose the property-tax cap”
–Zephyr Teachout, 9/5/2016
“She called for an end to the governor’s property-tax cap”
–New York Post, 9/7/2014
Iran nuclear deal:
“Document shows less limits on Iran nuke work”
–Associated Press, 7/18/2016
“John Kerry: Some sanctions relief money for Iran will go to terrorism”
–CNN, 7/21/2016
NRCC Comment: “Zephyr Teachout is treating voters like they are dumb, again. If Zephyr Teachout didn’t want to be criticized for putting Iran on the path to a nuclear bomb and for wanting to raise property taxes, then maybe she shouldn’t have taken those positions in the first place. Oh, and did we mention that Zephyr Teachout is treating voters like they are dumb?” –NRCC Spokesman Chris Pack
