New NRCC radio ad highlights LuAnn Bennett’s tax hypocrisy

LuAnn Bennett is a DC carpetbagger who broke her promise to build a preschool to avoid a hefty tax bill. But that hasn’t stopped her from supporting tax hikes on everyone else. The NRCC is out with a new radio ad exposing the tax-hiking hypocrisy of LuAnn Bennett.

WOMAN: Can you grab the remote? Thanks.

MAN: So, elections… Have you decided?

WOMAN: *Sigh* I dunno about president yet… but I am definitely not voting for developer LuAnn Bennett.

MAN: Because she was supposed to build a preschool but instead sat on the empty property for 20 years to avoid a hefty tax bill?

WOMAN: Yes. Plus, she may be trying to dodge more taxes now. She owns this fancy condo in Georgetown but claims to live out here with us.

MAN: I’d kill for an apartment to crash in to avoid traffic.

WOMAN: Uh, a luxury apartment anywhere. Point is: LuAnn Bennett lives the life of a DC insider but claims to be one of us, living in Virginia.

MAN: Because it helps her avoid tons of DC taxes. How convenient.

WOMAN: You know what’s even richer? She wants to raise our taxes! She’s for healthcare taxes, energy taxes, even taxes on our investments.

MAN: She wants to raise my taxes but won’t pay hers?!

WOMAN: Yeah, Developer LuAnn Bennett. She makes government work… for her.
