Jim Mowrer doesn’t think the Iran Deal will fund terrorism…
Jim Mowrer caught our attention at the KMA debate last night. When asked about the Iranian Deal, Jim Mowrer was quick to express his support for the disastrous deal but dismissed the notion that it funds terrorism through monetary payments as “simply not true.” Oops… I guess Jim Mowrer should have spent more time reading the news instead of his Nancy Pelosi approved debate answers.
Here is a list of all the top U.S. officials and Iranian leaders who have already admitted the deal can and will fund terrorism in Iran:
- Secretary of State John Kerry: “I think that some of it will end up in the hands of the IRGC or other entities, some of which are labeled terrorists,”
- President Obama’s national security advisor Susan Rice: “We should expect that some portion of that money would go to the Iranian military and could potentially be used for the kinds of bad behavior that we have seen in the region up until now,”
- Disgraced DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz: “Can you guarantee that that money, that $1.8 billion that’s part of the Iran deal, won’t be used to finance terror against Israel? Can you guarantee it?” DWS: “You can never guarantee anything, Jim,”
- White House Spokesman Josh Earnest: “I think that reflects his rather logical conclusion that a nation that supports terrorism may use some of the money that’s coming into the country to further support terrorism,” Earnest said
- Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps: Commanders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps were quoted in state media saying bluntly that the money was paid in exchange for the American prisoners.
That’s a lot of news articles to miss but I guess that happens when Jim Mowrer is busy campaigning on Nancy Pelosi’s liberal agenda instead of fighting for what is best for 3rd District families. Maybe Nancy Pelosi will make sure Jim Mowrer has updated answers to read from during the next debate.
NRCC Comment: “Jim Mowrer was so busy falling in line behind Nancy Pelosi on the campaign trail that he forgot to read the news in the last few months. Iowans need a representative who is prepared to honestly discuss the threats against our nation, not simply parrot party line talking points.”- NRCC Spokeswoman Kate Constantini
