Will Angie Craig tell us where she stands on anything tonight?

Tune in to tonight’s debate between Angie Craig and Republican Jason Lewis on KSTP at 6:30PM (CT). This will be Angie Craig’s final opportunity to tell voters where she stands on…well, any issue really. At previous debates, Craig has avoided talking about her own background or what she would actually do in Congress, instead focusing on repeating attacks on Jason Lewis from her TV ads that fact checkers have decried as misleading. Here are some of the things Angie Craig will try to avoid talking about tonight:

  • Angie Craig has vowed to fight to expand Obamacare, even as Minnesota families are watching their health insurance premiums increase by up to 67% next year.
  • Despite canceling a debate to campaign with Nancy Pelosi, Angie Craig has refused to tell voters who she would support for Speaker if elected. Will she finally come clean?
  • In light of the FBI reopening its investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server, will Angie Craig finally disavow her? Or will she continue to stand with Clinton and her decades of lies and corruption?
  • Angie Craig brags in her TV commercials about her company’s veterans programs, but in reality, the company was forced to pay a multimillion dollar settlement after the Department of Justice found out they were ripping off veterans by overcharging for their medical devices.

NRCC Comment: “It’s not surprising that Angie Craig has focused on making misleading attacks on Jason Lewis instead of talking about herself. Angie Craig is desperate to change the subject from her promise to expand Obamacare, her support for Nancy Pelosi and Hillary Clinton, and her company’s shady history of ripping off veterans.” – NRCC Spokesman Bob Salera
