Harry Reid and President Obama just made things real awkward for Jacky Rosen and Ruben Kihuen

Two of the most powerful Democrats in the country have put Jacky Rosen and Ruben Kihuen in a tough spot. Sen. Harry Reid, who handpicked both Rosen and Kihuen to run for office, yesterday accused FBI Director James Comey of possibly violating the Hatch Act after he reopened an investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails.

However, the White House today made clear that President Obama stands firmly behind Director Comey, saying that “the president doesn’t believe Director Comey is trying to influence the election.”

Which makes us wonder, do Rosen and Kihuen stand with their political godfather Harry Reid or the Democratic president who recently endorsed them both?
