He hasn’t exactly been on top of veterans issues this decade.

• The veterans section on his website hasn’t been updated since 2009.
• And his last press release on the topic was sent out last summer.

Is he politically posturing?

Finally waking up from a 7 year snooze to focus on vets?

Regardless, he should know fixing the VA isn’t about throwing more money or staff at the problem, but forcing them to focus on accountability and quality of care.
