NRCC Communications Director Matt Gorman’s Statement On Rep. Tim Walz’ Retirement

NRCC Communications Director Matt Gorman issued the following statement regarding the retirement of Democratic Congressman Tim Walz who represents Minnesota’s First Congressional District:

“Apparently, Tim Walz would rather bail out than face a tough race for his seat,” said NRCC Communications Director Matt Gorman.

“The NRCC will continue to target this open seat aggressively and are confident we’ll turn it red in 2018.”
