Stop whining and get to work
The 2016 election is over. Donald Trump won. And Californians want their Democratic elected officials to get over it.
A new poll conducted by Berkeley IGS shows a majority of Californians want their Democratic elected officials to work with President Trump instead of reflexively opposing his agenda. The poll’s director, Mark DiCamillo, added: “I think at some point the state has to come to terms with the new president and look out for what’s in the best interest of the state.”
That puts Ami Bera, Salud Carbajal, Raul Ruiz, and Scott Peters in a bit of a pickle. Far-left activists have already threatened primary challenges for Democratic officials not sufficiently in servitude to the obstructionist base, but the majority of Californians clearly feel differently.
So will Ami, Salud, Raul, and Scott stop whining and get to work?
