NRCC Announces Record Breaking First Quarter Fundraising
The National Republican Congressional Committee announced today record breaking fundraising hauls for the month of March and the first quarter of 2017. The committee brought in $15.5 million in March and $35.9 million in total during the first quarter. These impressive numbers exceed the NRCC’s 2015 first quarter number of $19.8 million.
“These incredible numbers over the first quarter are proof of not only the strong NRCC team, but the record-breaking level of Republican engagement across the country,” said NRCC Finance Chair Ann Wagner.
“With our vast resources, we’re ready to expand the map and continue to put Democrats on defense in 2018.”
“Ann Wagner’s outstanding leadership has been a driving force in the NRCC’s remarkable fundraising achievements this quarter,” said NRCC Chairman Steve Stivers.
“I thank Ann for a successful tenure as Finance Chairwoman. With momentum behind the Republican agenda and the support from members like Ann and incoming Finance Chairman Lee Zeldin, we will continue to make strides on the path to victory in 2018.”
Congresswoman Ann Wagner stepped down as NRCC Finance Chair at the end of March and will be replaced by Congressman Lee Zeldin.
