Injured or insincere?
April 28, 2017
Water is wet, the sky is blue, and lyin’ Rob Quist can’t stop lying.
- MYTH: In a new report by MTN News last night, Quist bragged about bringing “meat home to the table” for his family as a hunter “many times.”
- FACT: Quist hasn’t obtained a hunting license since electronic records began in 2002. MTN Political Analyst Dr. David Parker said Quist’s characterization “may be perceived by some as duplicitous.” Montana Shooting Sports Association President Gary Marbut said: “Mr. Quist is obviously not very familiar with firearms.” Quist himself said in an earlier interview: “Mostly I like to row the boat. In my view, ‘catch & release’ just hassles the fish.”
- FLIP: Quist’s spokesman blamed the same mid-1990’s surgery gone wrong for his inability to hunt or fish.
- FLOP: In the same interview with MTN, Quist brags about enjoying athletic activities like kayaking and canoeing on public lands. In an earlier interview, Quist said “I like to think I’m pretty athletic.”
So the self-described “athletic” Quist was too injured to work and pay his taxes or hunt and fish, and the alleged ‘Montana sportsman’ who has probably never had a hunting or fishing license “is obviously not very familiar with firearms,” mostly likes “to row the boat,” and thinks fishing “just hassles the fish.”
That’s lyin’ Rob Quist for ya!
