Shea-Porter tells working families better luck next time

Yesterday, Carol Shea-Porter voted against giving working parents the flexibility to use compensatory time to spend more time with their families.

The Working Families Flexibility Act provides moms and dads in the private sector the freedom to choose comp time over cash wages.

And here’s the kicker: Government employees have been able to make that choice since 1985.

Shea-Porter should explain why she voted against leveling the playing field and affording private sector employees the options to balance their work and family lives.
