Phillips: “I’ll be whoever you want me to be”

Dean Phillips: yesterday a flip-flopper, today a political opportunist.

When asked by the MinnPost to elaborate on his policy positions, or lack-there-of, he said: “I certainly do have some ideas and opinions, and I’ll wait to share those until I do a better job understanding how [CD3 voters] feel.”

Translation #1: “I will say or do anything to get elected.”

Translation #2: “I don’t know why I’m running.”

Since Mr. Gelato fumbled his launch, I suggest he take a hint from Erik Paulsen, who has the courage to do what is right for his District, not just what is politically popular on any given day.
