Carpetbagger alert

Joe McConnell, the Democrat who just announced against Republican Kevin Yoder, calls himself an “8^th generation Kansan.” But, he has not been registered to vote in Kansas for a decade; since 2008. In fact, McConnell has been living in California just down the road from Nancy Pelosi’s home. He’s even being called a “carpetbagger” by other Democrats.

If McConnell calls himself an 8^th generation Kansan, did he even register to vote in Kansas before filing to run? Does he have a Kansas driver’s license?

Seems hypocritical to start your campaign off claiming Kansas ties when you’ve been gone for a decade and just moved back to run for office. Then again, no one ever accused the DCCC and their chosen candidates of consistency.
