thousands of jobs

We’re not sure Jon Ossoff thought through his latest talking point turned advertisement. Apparently, he has a plan to cut billions of dollars in “wasteful” spending in Congress.

Among the waste he wants to cut? Georgia jobs.

Ossoff plans to “expand joint basing.” One minor (major) problem with this – it would likely cost Georgia $20 billion a year and cut tens of thousands of Georgia jobs. The Georgia House of Representatives strongly cautioned against doing the very thing Ossoff promises to do if elected. Also of note – his mentor, Hank Johnson, voted against prohibiting base closures, so that’s probably where Ossoff got this terrible idea.

And of course…if Jon Ossoff ever makes it to Congress, he will vote with Nancy Pelosi, who never cuts spending.
