It’s no secret that Obamacare in Minnesota is in big trouble. They saw the 4th highest premium increases nationwide, and the Minnesota Commerce Commissioner, Mike Rothman, said that Obamacare is “on the verge of collapse” and is “unsustainable and unfair.”

Additionally, in 2017, rates were increased by up to 67%.

Erik Paulsen has been an active voice for health care reform, because he knows that sitting idly by will have serious consequences for Minnesotans. Yet his opponent, Dean Phillips, is literally running for Congress in order to save the death-spiraling law.

With Dean Phillips, Minnesotans already know what they will get. Far higher taxes and costs; far fewer options. It’s an odd strategy, but we support it.
