“This is not how a responsible government operates”

The Orange County Register has some pointed words about California’s $400 billion single payer healthcare plan – the same one that costs more than double the entire state budget and would necessitate raising taxes by $200 billion:

• “Glorified political stunt”
• “Could do real harm to the state of California”
• “Clearly deficient”
• “Half-baked”
• “This is not how a responsible government operates”

While Republicans speak out against this destructive healthcare plan, some calculating Democrats are conspicuously silent: Ami Bera, Salud Carbajal, Raul Ruiz, and Scott Peters, to name a few.

None of these Members can speak with any credibility about healthcare while refusing to take a stand for their constituents against this plan that would wreck California’s budget, economy, and healthcare system.
