NRCC Chairman Steve Stivers’ Statement On New Mexico Rep. Steve Pearce’s Announcement

National Republican Congressional Committee Chairman Steve Stivers released the following statement regarding NM-02 Congressman Steve Pearce’s bid for Governor:

“Steve Pearce is a tireless fighter for the people of New Mexico and a valued member of the House Republican Conference,” said NRCC Chairman Steve Stivers.

“While we are sad to see him go, our loss is New Mexico’s gain. New Mexico’s Second District is a seat President Trump won by double digits last year, and House Republicans are confident we will be able to keep this seat in our column.”
