well this makes no sense
Today, the Democrats are finally unveiling their long awaited message. Yes, I know, we are nearly 8 months into the cycle.
They’ve decided the best setting to do this is in Virginia’s 10th District – in Clarke County – where Barbara Comstock got over 63% of the vote in 2016 and 62% in 2014. Democrats have not won the District since the disco era, while blowing over $20 million attacking Barbara Comstock.
Before they do anything – they need to get all of the Democrat candidates in VA-10 on a conference call. DCCC leadership has said that in conversations with voters back home, “not one has brought up Russia to me, not one has brought up impeachment.”
Yet, all the VA-10 candidates seem to talk about are those very things: Trump and Russia.
Alison Friedman, on why she’s running: “Then came November, and a new president who leads with a fear that trickles down into classrooms and a cruelty that threatens our values, our health, our ability to provide for our families, and our national security.”
Lindsey Davis Stover, on putting the country first: “Now, there are explosive allegations of interference with the FBI’s investigation of Michael Flynn’s ties to Russia. There is one person at the middle of all these stunning developments — the President himself.”
Dan Helmer, on his priorities: “[Republicans] also continue to stymie efforts to investigate the links between Mr. Trump’s staff and the Russian government. America needs new leadership on Capitol Hill…”
Jennifer Wexton, on her ideology: “The resistance starts this year in Virginia…”
Glad we’re all on the same page…they should follow what former Obama spokesman Tommy Vietor said.
Long live the Resistance in Virginia!
