The Washington establishment has rolled out the red carpet for Jason Crow. In fact, Minority Whip Steny Hoyer and DCCC Chairman Ben Ray Lujan were some of his very first donors.
But Crow’s primary opponent (who actually lives in the district he’s running in), Levi Tillemann? Not so much.
Tillemann tells Politico he was “amused” to receive a “form email” from the DCCC about fundraising. What a warm welcome to the race!
In fact, DCCC Executive Director Dan Sena said today the committee is going all-in on picking winners in Democratic primaries this year. The Hill writes: “…the party is open to picking sides in more traditional Democratic primaries, too, a decision that could ruffle feathers with Democrats who feel shut out by the party establishment.”
Looks like national Democrats have picked a side… and it’s not Levi’s.
