Bernie’s bro

Yesterday, the same day he was busy introducing a $32 trillion single payer plan in the Senate, Senator Bernie Sanders’s political arm endorsed Brent Welder over Andrea Ramsey in Kansas’ Third Congressional District Democratic primary.

This is a major snub for Ramsey, who is an avowed Sanders supporter and donor, and who shares Sanders’ extreme views that are wrong for Kansas.

All we know is with the potential of Sanders getting involved on behalf of Welder in the Democratic primary, it looks like Democrats will be stuck bitterly fighting amongst themselves for the time being. Who knows – Ramsey may even be forced to actually take positions on tricky political issues like Senator Sanders’ single-payer plan!
