Yesterday Tom Suozzi continued his single-payer shuffle when asked whether he supports Bernie Sanders’ $32 trillion single-payer healthcare legislation.

Let’s just say Suozzi’s position on the issue has become a little unclear…

• January: Suozzi bows to pressure from liberal activists and signs a pledge in favor of single-payer.
• July: Suozzi says he supports single-payer “on an academic basis only.” (Whatever that means)
• September: Suozzi tells Newsday he only supports single-payer if it doesn’t include a tax increase. (Spoiler: that’s impossible)

Has Tom Suozzi finally realized that single-payer is nothing more than a socialist pipe dream that even Bernie Sanders admits would bankrupt the country?
