The thought of Democratic primary voters holding their breath for a moderate candidate in NY-24 makes me want to grab the nearest defibrillator.

Both contenders have already sprinted left and embraced Bernie Sanders’ single-payer proposal:

• While speaking at an Indivisible event in August, Anne Messenger said she supports “Medicare for all, or expanded Medicare, or single-payer system – whatever it’s called.”
• At her campaign kickoff, Dana Balter committed to supporting single-payer legislation.

According to the latest NBC/WSJ poll, the vast majority of Americans oppose Bernie’s $32 trillion single-payer boondoggle once they’re told it’s a complete government takeover of their healthcare…

Nothing brings Democrats together these days like socialism and tax increases!
