Randy Bryce is suffering from a chronic case of foot-in-mouth syndrome.

Over the weekend, Bryce launched a tweet suggesting that Ivanka Trump would initiate a romantic relationship with Canadian President Justin Trudeau if anything were to happen to her husband.

He included a picture of Ivanka smiling in Trudeau’s general direction as evidence.

Cathy Myers, Bryce’s primary opponent, slammed Bryce by telling WI-01 primary voters they “won’t need to vote for someone who thinks women need a man to be okay.” She also pointed to instances where Bryce “talked over her” as further examples of his misogyny.

And this isn’t the first time Bryce has been taken heat for his comments. He previously told CNN that he had “no specifics” on addressing North Korea’s nuclear threat and that he would need to “take a trip to Washington” before answering any questions.
