Thanks to Governor Brown and the out-of-control California legislature, today Californians will begin paying 12 cents more per gallon of gasoline at the pump (or 20 cents per gallon of diesel).

Think that’s going to go over well? A recent UC Berkeley poll found 58% of Californians opposed the gas tax legislation, and only 35% support it. And according to poll director Mark DiCamillo, the tax’s unpopularity will “rear its head” for Democrats “in competitive districts.”
