It’s official!
Thanks to Governor Jerry Brown’s toxic gas tax hike that is overwhelmingly opposed by the majority of Californians, the Golden State officially now has the highest gas prices in the entire country.

According to PolitiFact, “since the end of October, California’s per gallon gasoline prices have risen by 18 cents… 12 cents of the 18 cent rise can be attributed to California’s gas tax increase, as providers typically pass on the full price of taxes to consumers.”
California Democrats are hitting commuters right where it hurts the most: their pocketbooks. Sacramento’s failure to govern is inviting an electoral backlash in 2018 – and it’s threatening to punish Democrats up and down the ticket.
