I wonder whether Nancy Pelosi and DCCC preferred candidate Jay Hulings are on speaking terms today. Seems doubtful after Jay had this to say about the House Dems…

“I think it’s time for new leadership,” Hulings, a former federal prosecutor, said in an interview.

Jay’s financial support from one of Pelosi’s top lieutenants certainly complicates this matter.

Hulings has received financial support from House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer — “I’m very grateful” for it, he said — but not from Pelosi.

“She hasn’t asked,” he said. “I haven’t sought it.”

Nothing like a little party in-fighting to rev up your campaign, Jay.
