No wonder people dread April 15th

Republicans are saying “no more” to the complicated system we currently use to file our taxes.

With the tax reform bill, doing your taxes will be as simple as filling out and mailing in a postcard. Getting rid of complex loopholes and itemized deductions means lowering taxes for all income brackets across the board, putting more money in Americans’ pockets.

As the Associated Press put it:

The legislation would fulfill a longstanding goal for Capitol Hill Republicans who see a once-in-a-generation opportunity to clean up an inefficient, loophole-cluttered tax code.

Seems pretty smart, given that more money in the pockets of Americans leads to more spending, giving our economy a boost. Now that’s a win-win.
