NRCC CHAIRMAN STEVE STIVERS’ STATEMENT ON CONGRESSMAN TRENT FRANKS’ RESIGNATION

National Republican Congressional Committee Chairman Steve Stivers released the following statement regarding AZ-08 Congressman Trent Franks’ resignation:

“Congress should be held to the highest ethical standard. Trent Franks did the right thing in stepping aside,” said NRCC Chairman Steve Stivers.

“This is a safe Republican seat and we have no doubt it will stay in our column.”
