ALERT: CA Dems vote to shut down the government, stop funding for kids’ healthcare

Vulnerable California Democrats Ami Bera, Salud Carbajal, and Scott Peters used their final vote of 2017 to shut down the government, stop funding for the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), and block $81 billion in disaster aid.

This is the cherry on top of a disastrous year of votes for these Democrats, whose accomplishments include blocking over $2,000 in middle class tax cuts for their constituents and blocking access to water for California communities.
