Today is day one of the #SchumerShutdown, and Democrats across the country are facing immense backlash for shutting the government down and holding CHIP funding hostage.

Elise Stefanik voted to keep the government open, fund the CHIP program for 6 years, and she vocally denounced Pelosi and Schumer’s reckless political brinkmanship. But the same can’t be said about the Democrats challenging her:

• Tedra Cobb: Silent
• Sara Idleman: Silent
• Ronald Kim: Silent
• Emily Martz: Silent
• David Mastrianni: Silent
• Patrick Nelson: Silent
• Katie Wilson: Silent

Would they have voted with House Democrats and Chuck Schumer to shut the government down – or with Elise Stefanik to keep it open and fund the children’s health insurance program?

If anyone hears from them, please let me know. I’m starting to get worried…
