Empty seat
January 22, 2018
You may want to sit down for this… as it turns out, Brad Ashford may have been grossly exaggerating his work on national security and defense.
The Washington Free Beacon reports Ashford skipped 41% of his House Armed Services Committee work while in Congress, including hearings on combating ISIS and Islamic terrorism.
Ashford – who claimed progress President Trump has made in destroying ISIS was enabled by his work on the Committee – well… may want to walk that one back.
Nebraskans have a choice to make this November – will they go with the empty seat career politician over a decorated veteran who has served his country with distinction? You can probably guess.
