It’s already been reported that Elissa Slotkin had some issues with claiming the homestead exemption for her home in DC – which was her primary residence for quite some time.

Oddly, this ding to her campaign did not deter Slotkin from putting two DC-area fundraisers on the books for next week. Here’s invitation 1, and invitation 2.

On behalf of DC residents everywhere, I would like to warmly welcome Elissa Slotkin back! I hope her homecoming is all that she expected it to be and more.

She will feel right at home raising big $$ in a room full of DC insiders, sipping wine at Bullfeathers, and alienating her primary opponents at DCCC headquarters. You know, all the things that DC insiders do.
