After much hand-wringing from the DCCC over their extraordinarily weak eight-candidate field in California’s Tenth District, national Democrats publicly begged two-time loser Michael Eggman, who passed on a third run last year, to reconsider.

Never one to say no to a losing proposition, Eggman announced he’s making a third run this morning.

So the DCCC’s last best hope is a guy who underperformed the top of the ticket by tens of thousands of votes in a “toss up” race in 2016? Sounds promising!
