Tom takes a seat

While Nancy Pelosi was fuming about positive economic news last night at the State of the Union, Tom O’Halleran was right alongside her.

According to Cronkite News, O’Halleran seems a little bitter the economy is doing so well now that the middle class tax cuts he didn’t vote for are kicking in.

Here’s the reality: under the historic Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, Arizona will enjoy 18,234 new jobs (according the U.S. Chamber of Commerce). And an average single filer in O’Halleran’s district will receive a $1,192 tax cut (according to the House Ways & Means Committee).

Don’t be bitter, Tom. Just do better.
