new evidence of relationship
A few weeks ago Angie Craig was endorsed by the Congressional Progressive Caucus – which is co-chaired by fellow Minnesota Democrat Keith Ellison.
A few days ago we learned that Keith Ellison’s relationship with the Nation of Islam and its head, Louis Farrakhan, is deeper than he previously admitted.
Today we found out that despite apologizing for his associations with the anti-Semitic group in 2006, Ellison continued his relationship with the group and its leader far past that apology.
From The Daily Caller: “But Ellison’s associations with Farrakhan continued even as he served in Congress, TheDC has found.
“Ellison attended at least three meetings where Farrakhan was present — including a private visit to Farrakhan’s hotel room — according to photos and videos reviewed by TheDC and Farrakhan’s own statements.”
“Johari Abdul-Malik, then director at Dar Al Hijrah Islamic Center in Virginia, uploaded a YouTube video in 2013 that shows Ellison casually chatting among a crowd of men, including Farrakhan. The video is short — just 28 seconds —- but what it shows is indisputable: Ellison comfortably socializing in the same group as Farrakhan, decades after Ellison supposedly cut ties with him.”
Although there were already plenty of reasons for Angie Craig to disavow Keith Ellison, this latest bombshell on requires a response.
- Is Angie still proud of the $5,000 she received from Ellison last cycle?
- Has she received any $ from him this cycle?
- Will she campaign with him the next time he goes to the district? (he was there a few weeks ago.)
