Cuomo does it again

March 16, 2018

It’s been a really, really bad week for Andrew Cuomo.
First, his former right-hand man was convinced on three counts stemming from a federal corruption trial. Then he learned he will likely have a well-funded primary opponent in Cynthia Nixon.
Wondering how he responded? Exactly how you would expect him to.
Cuomo launched downright ridiculous digital ads against seven House Republicans – only to be immediately attacked from Democrats across the state:

Zephyr Teachout, a progressive activist who sits on the state committee and challenged Cuomo in a 2014 primary, said the ads were not a good use of resources.

“If anyone thinks this is about defeating Republicans like Faso instead of propping up Cuomo, I’ve got a bridge name to sell you,” Teachout tweeted.

Ben Yee, another state committee member, pointed to Nixon as the likely motivation.

“Where did $100K in @nydems money go?” He tweeted.
Keep it up King Cuomo, we want to see as much of you on the campaign trail as possible.
