Very different priorities

April 6, 2018

Want to find out what a party’s priorities are? Just look at what its most high profile members choose to talk about day after day. For Republicans, it’s all about jobs, lower taxes, and rising wages. Democrats, on the other hand? Well, they have different priorities…

Democrats seem to believe the issues that resonate most with voters are ‘common sense’ ideas like abolishing the U.S immigration enforcement agency (ICE), repealing the second amendment, and raising everyone’s taxes. What a plan!

Needless to say, these Democratic priorities are hopelessly out of step with the vast majority of Americans. As Democrats pander to the far-left fringes of their coalition, hard data shows us what voters’ priorities really are:

Public opinion is also shifting in the Republicans’ favor on the issues. According to a New York Times poll (yes, the New York Times), most Americans support President Trump’s Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. Job creators are especially optimistic: Roughly 80 percent of small business owners support the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, while even more (83 percent) expect it to have a positive impact on the economy. Nearly 40 percent of small business owners plan to use their tax savings to hire additional employees, while others hope to invest in new technology and offer new services.

With multi-millionaire Nancy Pelosi as the party leader, it’s no surprise that out-of-touch Democrats fail to understand the concerns of voters. Since tax reform launched our nation into The Great American Comeback, Americans are experiencing an eased cost of living and realizing the Republican agenda will continue to deliver prosperity to the country.
