Tax Season: Reform Has Put America Back To Work
Tax Day 2018 is just four days away, and we’re more grateful than ever for the tax reform brought on by our Republican Congress and Administration last year.
One major benefit of tax reform?
Jobless claims recently plummeted to the lowest level since 1973, with only 215,000 Americans filing for unemployment benefits. And the latest stats show those jobless claims have now stayed below 300,0000 for the longest such streak on record.
With American companies of all sizes benefiting from tax reform, business owners are feeling optimistic. Their confidence in the future has led to employee raises, bonuses, and of course, the massive hiring surge that was the harbinger to historically-low jobless claims rates.
Tax reform has effectively put America back to work, meaning more good economic news is undoubtedly on the horizon.
