Brad Ashford has tied himself up in knots over the question of whether he’ll vote for Nancy Pelosi for Speaker (though he voted for her twice while serving in the House of Representatives).

He even went so far as to tell the Washington Post he didn’t know who would be running for Speaker next year.

But Nancy Pelosi just made it 100% clear in a new interview with the Boston Globe – she is not going anywhere, and Democrats wanting new leadership are just going to have to deal with it.

Now that Brad can’t hide behind the question of who will be throwing their name in the hat, it’s time for him to take a definitive stand (for once in his life): if elected, will Brad Ashford commit to supporting Nancy Pelosi for Speaker?

Nebraskans deserve to know.
