Paging Kathy
Nancy Pelosi declared in the Boston Globe that:
1. Democrats will win in November
2. She will run for Speaker again.
3. Her members feel confident about it.
Someone forgot to tell that to Kathy Manning, who was unable to commit to supporting Pelosi, telling the Washington Post: “I would make that decision like I make all my decisions: Get as much information as I can, find out who’s running, find out what their positions are, then vote for the person who’d make the best leader.”
You read that right.
Manning is pretending that she is incapable of articulating her support for Pelosi even though she and her husband have donated thousands to her campaign.
For voters to think Manning has any semblance of independence from Pelosi at all, she must reject any money from Pelosi and the DCCC. Because don’t forget, Kathy, money talks.
