sorry dan, nancy did it again

Nancy Pelosi did it again and complicated things for Dan McCready.

McCready has presumptively started his general election pivot by starting to walk back his opposition to the GOP tax cuts.

December 2017 Dan: “This is not real reform. It’s a failure.”

May 2018 Dan: “I do think there are some steps in the right direction in regard to the tax bill that was passed…”

But this morning, Nancy Pelosi confirmed what we’ve already known: Democrats plan to raise taxes.

JAKE SHERMAN: “[The NRCC has] a new ad that they put out after you said you thought you were going to win the majority that says—the title was “All at Stake.” It said that you would like to institute a single-payer healthcare program and cancel—raise taxes I think they mean, rollback the tax cuts that they passed this year. Is that—what do you make of that?”

NANCY PELOSI: “Well, the second part there is accurate.”

As Nancy Pelosi’s handpicked candidate who has accepted thousands from the DCCC, there is no denying how McCready will vote when it comes to taxes. He’ll be a reliable vote for Pelosi’s agenda, which is guaranteed to lead to less money in North Carolinians’ pockets.
