The DCCC continues to give the middle finger to local Democrats by meddling in primaries across the country, with PA-07 being added to the list…

Via Politico: Two of Wild’s opponents — Bernie Sanders-endorsed pastor Greg Edwards and well-known Northampton County District Attorney John Morganelli, the leader in public polling — said the DCCC tried to maneuver them out of the race. The Washington Post reported in March that a DCCC operative asked local Democrats if Edwards or Wild would exit the House primary to run for a state Senate seat. The Edwards campaign told The Morning Call in April that a DCCC staffer suggested that former Bethlehem Mayor John Callahan “would have strong fundraising,” though Callahan never entered the race.

This is just the latest in a growing list of intervention failures by the DCCC.

In Texas’ 7^th, they published opposition research on a more liberal candidate that ended up propelling her into a runoff. And in New York’s 24^th, the DCCC created a competitive primary after local Democrats had already endorsed their chosen candidate.

For the record: We are not paying the DCCC for their continued efforts to keep these seats in Republican hands.
