NRCC Deputy Chairwoman Rep. Mimi Walters: Pelosi Overplayed Her Hand Betting The Majority On CA
IRVINE, CA – NRCC Deputy Chairwoman Mimi Walters today joined Fox News’ Harris Faulkner from the NRCC’s West Coast Headquarters to discuss Republican enthusiasm and strategy, as well as Democrats’ missteps leading up to today’s California jungle primaries. With crowded primary fields, Democrats risk being shut out of the general election if they fail to secure one of the top two votes in each race.
NRCC DEPUTY CHAIRWOMAN REP. MIMI WALTERS: Well I believe that Nancy Pelosi has overplayed her hand because she has said that in order to flip the House, they must do it through California and I think she’s going to find out that that’s not going to happen. The Democrats have a very big problem of possibly not getting in the top two in a couple of our open seats here in Orange County, and if they get shut out of the general election, there is no way they’re going to be able to take the House.
