Other than their allegiance to Nancy Pelosi – what do Sean Casten, Brendan Kelly, Betsy Londrigan, and Lauren Underwood have in common? They all continually fundraise with controversial people.

Exactly two months ago, they fundraised in DC with Nancy Pelosi while she endorsed their candidacies.

Today, you can catch them at Mastro’s Steakhouse fundraising with J.B Pritzker.  

Pritzker is polarizing for many reasons – most notably because he has never seen a tax hike he didn’t like, and has strong ties to now-incarcerated former Governor Rod Blagojevich.

Casten, Kelly, Londrigan, and Underwood will all vote for J.B. Pritzker for Governor. This means they all support his plan to increase income taxes on Illinoisans. No one should be surprised – each of the four candidates strongly oppose the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, which has already lowered taxes for middle class families in Illinois.
